Dennis is the foreground man a photo or 'posed'? He is going to have a terrible stoop when he gets older.

Lots of activity which is fun to look at ...... you seem to have transported us to Bavaria with a German sign in the window and a typically dirndl clad waitress with litre steins.

Good luck with your other challenge.

Anna-
Loyd, my vision is one day, Camel and Moose will star in their own feature film

I will let you produce and direct that one...lol.

David-
McDonalds! God forbid!

Have something against 'upscale dining'...?

Ok, why is McDonalds like the white house?

Dennis-

Your entry really gives a feeling of depth... nice!

Frank-

I really like your painted version, good one!

David, Its how the clothing simulator folded the shirt at the back. They are all Daz models. It's a pity you can not see the detail of that characters face. Its as if he is on the receiving end of his girlfriends jealous outcry. He is pointing to the waitress at the kegs and his expression appears as though he could be saying, in a very frustrated fashion, "Go ask her!"

All 7 characters were rendered individually and blended into the background separately.

If I haven't saved over the pose and set up, i'll render a close up of him.

My ancestors, 5 generations back, originated from Netherlands / Germany? Would love to go visit there. Bavaria looks stunning. I would make that a destination. So, yes, in my minds eye I was trying to image a social gathering of my people.

"Go ASK her!"

You can see part of the fold down his back, now that I have more resolution. Being able to recognise the fold, makes him less arched in the back.

Old Reagan era joke. "They both have a clown named Ronald".

Unaware that Americans had a less cynical view of of Nancy and Ronald than Europeans I foolishly came out with this quip in the eighties to my American crew on a movie set in New York. It was met with a terrible deafening silence.

Yes. Deceptive. it's the lower part of the fold ballooning outwards makes him look so bowed.

The close up is truly remarkable Dennis!

I worked a lot in Germany in the seventies and eighties. Munich and Bavaria mostly. It is very beautiful and, if you like beer, some of the best in the world (outside Belgium of course!). One of my sons did a three year double university degree in German and Japanese. He spent a year in universities in each country and ended up living in Munich. He has lived there for eighteen years now.

Michael your latest is full of tiny hidden surprises, quite aside from my having moved to Antwerp.

It wasn't until I enlarged that I spotted a couple. Little bit of texture mismatch in places but otherwise very neatly incorporated. Great fun.

The more I look at your image Michael, the more I see. The mouse and David in the windows, the wreath, the wooden mouse, the water bearer, one of the seven dwarves (or maybe two?) and I'm sure there is a lot that I have missed. Very well done.

Yes great fun, David. Now, I know I can get good colour matches, but texture matches are a work in progress. This was a particularly difficult FC because of the complicated nature of the carvings, so I did not really try to achieve shiny results. I didn't think it would work. That cannabis plant in the forground was also fun and I'm quite proud of how it came out - after a couple of hours of work.
Your own entries this week are, as usual, exceptionally good. In fact everyone who still takes on these challenges has improved a lot over the past few years.

I knew you would!

Interesting and curious to see that blowing up shops in Antwerp should produce exactly the same crater as blowing up cinemas in England.

I missed that completely.

Maybe after Judgement Day you should publish a list to see how much we caught or missed.

Thanks Michael, the swaying of the moose antlers really makes a difference.

Your small and subtle reworks of the sculpture are great! Nicely done as always.

I have had intermittent ISP outages over the last few days... my service has been awful lately. Hopefully It will be back to normal soon. At least they admit that the problem is on their end and not mine.

Thanks, Loyd. We all have ISP outages from time to time. Mine once crashed for three whole days!
