Thank you Steve. Enjoyed that one. The girls in uniform are The Grill Girls.

Thanks Steve - agree - should have left the shadows out. The giant skeleton I photographed while shopping at Costco last week .

Not sure about the dodgy angle of the hand lifting the lid, but I like the building of the interior. Shouldn’t the lid have some thickness?

Bit puzzled there Steve. There is no hand holding the lid. It's pushed open by his head. Hence the bent squashed hat.

I did give the lid thickness but it's black. It disappeared into more black when I added the black shadow to the interior. I missed that completely. Silly.

I haven’t watched KAOS yet, but it’s next on my list.

I loved it because it's a true original. I'd never seen anything quite like it before. I found it palled a bit in the middle once the novelty had worn off but it picks up again splendidly as things start to get dodgy for the Gods.

You know what would have been really cool? If the N of Underworld was right on the edge and the well was recessed in profile at that point.

Yes it would. Good call.

A glorious bit of Bondage with charming detail.

He's always reliable and there's always fun 'gadgety stuff' to play with.

....... the princess seems to be hovering above the ground – her body length couldn’t stretch the height of the well. Or maybe she has a concealed stool. Great choice of font, except for the apostrophe…

This simple image was much harder than it looked. All the 'princess' photos I could find were the usual inevitable looking straight at camera. There were very few profiles and among those few she was the only one with an expression where I could really create a 'bond' with the frog. I tried umpteen variations of size and position and couldn't find a way round the problem except by making her a giant. The story is more important than the detail and I felt she was so perfect in every other way that I let it pass as it was. I reckoned most people wouldn't spot it (I was sure you would) and there was always the hidden step or stool excuse to fall back on.

The apostrophe came with the font. I am afraid I lack your marked appreciation and sensibility for fonts.

Thanks Steve and thanks Gordon!

The one I couldn't post because of computer failure... the one I liked best.

Splendid, Loyd! Love the pulsating lid. And the miasma. Glad you got your computer working again.
