Thanks Steve - you do wonder how people ever took the Cottingely fairies seriously (let alone Conan Doyle!) - a less jaundiced pre-Photoshop age I guess! _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

Thanks Steve. No not you flying. I was able to work the wings out by using Gordon's 3D render of a plane which was in HTCIPCS5. You should look at it sometime, it has a few good things in it. Have a good week-end all. |

Thanks Steve but you wouldn't actually be able to see the other engine from this angle
'Fraid it's not you flying this time.

Gaaah! That plane has an engine missing as well! Where's an air traffic controller when you need one? |

I decided to get some extra mileage out of this car, so I split it up - side, top, hood, windshield and transformed each section. Inspired by the truck in chapter 6. _________________ Is it necessary? Does it work? |

Steve........the "flying devices" are paper airplanes - the simpler ones are drawn (I love the pen tool - though, it is much smarter than I). This was a fun challenge! _________________ "Art is a blade of grass ... and in a moment I will eat it." |

Thanks Steve . My animation didn't go exactly to plan! Getting the wheels to spin at that angle wasn't easy. I realise now that I could have made them as a 3D layer in After effects but I used photoshop CS5s 3D function (for the first time) and had problems sending it to after effects, in the end I just had to import 12 individual PSD frames to AE. I must be missing a trick somewhere, plus my laptop was being cooked to its limit! - I think il stick to drawing rather than animating ! _________________ “Art Is Never Finished, Only Abandoned.” |

Thanks, Steve. Too much plastic wrap? Ah well - it was very last minute (my challenge offerings usually take the whole week!) _________________ Man cannot change the direction of the wind but he can adjust the sails |

Thanks again Steve. Sometimes I drift. I was thinking about the reflection on the wing too, but lets slide over that, small point I hope, there are aircraft above in the formation (reflected) ... no answer with time available ... .. no not him, just a regular spitfire pilot. But I feel very sad my friend's husband (Paul) died in a small aircraft crash...... devastating for their small family .. Good point on the logos, for NASA and esa, missed that chance, ... or could have been bad parking ![]() |
