I wasn't overly happy with the legs either Steve. I was going for that mottled look but wasn't having much success.

Thanks, Steve. This would have been much easier if her hands were not on her hips. And your right (as usual), her breasts should have been lower.

Thank you for the comments Steve.

Where did you get the figure from? It has that seaside postcard exuberance that's just perfect!

I was lucky enough to find it on flickr, after a Google search came up empty.

In the second image, I tried to make sure I stopped short of grotesque. I think I need more tips on using the liquify tool, though. I found the way I used it quite destructive, especially at the edges of selections. Also, (unless I'm missing a trick), because the liquify dialog only shows the selection or layer you are liquifying, it is hard to know how your changes will affect the rest of the image.

Thanks for the comments, I did increase the size of the arms, but obviously not quite enough and yes the shirt was hand drawn and taken from a photo of tulips!

Actually, you can choose to show other layers in the document when in Liquify: check the Show Backdrop box at the bottom right of the dialog, and choose the layers you want to display.

Thanks for that, if I'd spotted it before, I could have saved myself a lot of CTRL + Z-ing!

Shadow, and Pierre your entries were wonderfully and disgustingly realistic: absolutely brilliant the pair of you. Now, if you want some flies...

Let me think about that one....

I thought of a cigarette and a tattoo, but I did not really had the time anymore, and there's some limit to what you can do to someone's image... or is there?
