I wasn't overly happy with the legs either Steve. I was going for that mottled look but wasn't having much success. _________________ Pauline |

Thanks, Steve. This would have been much easier if her hands were not on her hips. And your right (as usual), her breasts should have been lower. _________________ "I haven't failed.... I've found 10,000 ways that don't work!" Thomas Edison |

Re: Contest 149: Weight gain
Thank you for the comments Steve.
I was lucky enough to find it on flickr, after a Google search came up empty. In the second image, I tried to make sure I stopped short of grotesque. I think I need more tips on using the liquify tool, though. I found the way I used it quite destructive, especially at the edges of selections. Also, (unless I'm missing a trick), because the liquify dialog only shows the selection or layer you are liquifying, it is hard to know how your changes will affect the rest of the image. |

Thanks for the comments, I did increase the size of the arms, but obviously not quite enough and yes the shirt was hand drawn and taken from a photo of tulips! |

Actually, you can choose to show other layers in the document when in Liquify: check the Show Backdrop box at the bottom right of the dialog, and choose the layers you want to display. |

Thanks for that, if I'd spotted it before, I could have saved myself a lot of CTRL + Z-ing! |

Let me think about that one.... I thought of a cigarette and a tattoo, but I did not really had the time anymore, and there's some limit to what you can do to someone's image... or is there? _________________ |
