Thanks Steve!
No idea what caused the seagulls... I suppose they don't call me mad for nothing.

Thank you Steve, I can not control "labels round curves" in your book. Others advices perhaps?

Re: Contest 235: Museum lighting
Thanks Steve - You are right about the mismatch between the main shadow and the lattice - I think that I had so much trouble with the lattice shadows that by the time I had cracked it I had lost the will to live !

Jeepy,

What are you finding difficult here? Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Re: Contest 235: Museum lighting
Thanks again Steve for your comments. Very accurate and on the nose to us all.

I had a bad hair day!!

Her pastel picture was going out of view on the right, hence a bit of breakdown.

I put the diffuse light in there to save the need for lattice, which really I thought was right, .... hey, I live at 52 degrees N (was 56 and above)

I use CS4.
For the drum of oil from the book, no problem, but for the wall, I can't deform the text correctly. Particularly the Shear* filter (with the image turned to 90°). Thank you for your interest to my problem.

With CS4, you can use the Image Warp tool. Very easy to bend the text up the wall!

Thank you Steve for your comments. Now as far as the wheels are concerned...what happened was...the plane took off nicely and then it saw Celia's seagulls so the wheels came back down again for an emergency landing!
