Thanks Steve
I Googled a Vogue Cover and created a file in the same proportions. The word Vogue was traced using the Pen and filled with the colour of Sarah's jacket. I'd suggest the size and placing are about right and as for the other text, the mag I used as a copy seemed to use the same fonts as me. I see your point about the line spacing, i.e. could be tighter and the text on the chin is a no no.

Looks like my magazine design days are well and truly over now, so I'll stick to jug making.

Thanks Steve! Yes, silly me, never spotted that at all.
Guess I'm not as anally retentive as I thought.

Thanks, Steve - I thought just one shoe because Biggish Shoes might not have sounded as good - plus the fact that he has one big shoe plays perfectly into the absurdity of the situation.

NeilO, sorry to have offended you in anyway you have the right like everybody to expression an opinion and I respect that. Strangely enough we actually agree to some degree even if it appears we were at odds.

Steve no worries I have already burnt my soapbox for Guy Fawkes Night

Thanks Steve. I wanted to do the lumberjack song, but couldn't find a good starting image!

Hehe that's a pity, that would have been my cup of tea.

Thanks for all that Steve. I really enjoyed this one. What would life be if we couldn't laugh at our politicians?

Thanks Steve. And Gordon I hope we all can laugh at the new President-elect! I will try and give as much respect to our new Democratic Pres. as Neal has given to our exiting Republican Pres. Long live our freedom of expression! (after all, we've lost just about all the other freedoms!)

Thanks Steve, really enjoyed this one, I started off just wanting to give her a facelift and a new hairdo, but decided more was needed.

Thanks Steve, the daughter shows just how effective the abstinence only sex education that Palin champions is. I guess her pregnant daughter is a bit older than Skipper though.

Happy Birthday!

OMG! That's exactly what I was looking for! You gotta see the difference a contrast layer makes!

Many thanks, Steve. And I breathe a sigh of relief - I kept expecting one last devastatingly dirty trick to throw the election. And just what's wrong with Socialism? I kind of appreciate having a Fire Department and libraries.

A subtly dishevelled Palin from Whaler: the skin is paler, the mouth downturned, the eyes have lost their sparkle, and of course the hair is beautifully ragged. Nice work.

Thank you, Steve!

These are all just too fabulous, I hear Ms. Palin can be vindictive so another reason to hope she fades away next week. The Alaskans I know go to Hawaii each winter so she and her daughter can join them.
