Contest 3: Build me a window
OK, it's another view of my kitchen - I don't know why, all three contests have featured my kitchen. Pretty soon you'll be able to build a virtual model of my entire house. This week, I'd like a new window in the wall behind the table. What sort of window? What's the view like outside? Well, that's up to you. Who knows, if you come up with anything I really like I might just get the builders in. Remember, though that walls have thickness. You'll find a medium resolution copy of the kitchen here, and a higher resolution version here – but, if you use the big one, I'd appreciate it if you could reduce your work before posting it here. Wow! That's absolutely stunning! Wall thickness, chair reflections (well done getting the lighting on the chairs exactly right), sheen on the window, perspective - all perfect! I think I'd better keep putting down those T-Rex pellets, though... |

Thank you both, I think the hardest part was the window frame itself, but after copying a window design plan it all fell into place with a bit of bevel and emboss. |

Nice perspective Maiden and Ryan, and I like the soft focus look Daz, kind of reminds me of the album covers available in the 1970's... ok showing my age 
Heres my attempt... If you like the look Steve just call Davis and Tate and ask for the "Pretentious" range

"Well that's the air-conditioning sorted - now for a nice runny boiled egg for my breakfast!" haha - I've heard of double-glazing but not zero-glazing, let's hope he finishes it before winter. Very well done the brickwork is great, as is the painting and the plaster dust. |
