Contest 90: Make it move
We had a lot of fuss about animations last week. Personally, I like the things, especially if they add to the fun. So this week we're going to do an animation special. Here's your challenge: take this cyclist (the high res version is here) and make him move. Backgrounds, whatever, are up to you - but remember the 100K limit! To make him more selectable, I've saved him as a GIF rather than a JPEG file this week. So save the file to disk, and you'll find he already has a transparent background. |

Ah Steve, you have a wonderful way of solving problems. I wondered why you didn't comment on this matter in last weeks challenge, and now I see why!! I've never done a animated gif before. This truly will be a challenge!! _________________ Pauline |

Try Maiden's website: http://www.maidenart.co.uk/scrolling-background.html Ted Edit: Oh! The tutorials section of the main site doesn't seem to work! |

Re: Contest 90: Make it move
I have never done an animation so this morning when I saw the challenge, I decided to sit this one out. Welllllllllllllllll before long I was doing what any other PS fanatic would be doing i.e. exploring and pushing buttons. This is not in the same class as Glen's but nevertheless I now present you with OBLIVIOUS WEDDING COUPLE. |

Re: Contest 90: Make it move
Please excuse the size of this file, but I couldn't get it smaller without looking even WORSE than it does now. It's rubbish, but hopefully you can see what I was trying to get. I think I bit off more than I can chew. I don't think photoshop will be the tool of choice for Toy Story 3 |

Re: Contest 90: Make it move
Ok. I have never done this. Do you create the separate frames in PS and then open in ImageReady? If so, how do you get all the frames into the animation palette? |
