Contest 117: Squeeze the tube
A bit of a technical challenge this week. Here's a tube of toothpaste: I want you to take the cap off and squeeze some paste out of the tube. How would the tube be distorted when it's squeezed? What flavour of paste should be coming out? And could it be placed in a bathroom setting? High res is here.  |

Wow! Ted and Ben! These are great! But Ted, I would replace the red toothbrush... Ben, I am impressed by the reflection on the faucet and the curl of the tube! Great work guys! _________________ |

My grand-daughter after her bath. This was done in a hurry, as i won't be near a computer again until next weekend. I'm not happy with the toothpaste. |

Still not quite right, but a little better. Deleted the first one. Love some of the other toothpaste entries. My tube has a flip top, which is why you can't see the thread.

I'm awake now and have tweaked a little more since the early hours of Take 1. I was having a problem with the perspectives of the shelf angle and the glass and toothpaste top. Shear and distort didn't seem to work for me so I leave it to other eyes and comments. Take 2

WOW!! Until now I thought I knew something about photoshop, what I did learn is: I have a lot to learn. This does not look like much, but I could not believe how many layers, filters and many other things I had to do to get this far.  |
