Contest 151: Putting on the years
A couple of you have pointed out that the photo of my on the flap in the latest edition (and on the main How to Cheat website) looks a little young. To tell the truth, this wasn't just vanity - I simply carried on using the same picture I'd used in the first edition, without thinking about it.

Looking at it now, though, it does seem rather too youthful. Anyone care to age me by a few years? I could, of course, have given you a photo without that hand in front of my face - but then I don't want to make it too easy for you. And just so you don't get any ideas about cheating, I've removed my avatar this week as well, so you'll have to do it from memory (or imagination).

Have fun with this one.

High res is here.

As bad as that, eh? Although if we're really delving into the archives, I can reveal that I played sax and keyboards in a band called Falling Men in the early 80s...

great stuff Steve...I've been guilty of a few bands myself...up till1994 ,where we played the Marquee in London ( just because our singer knew the people there very well, and he was quite a known NME journalist...so not because we were so talented:-) .
It was the most embarrassing experience of my life!! and the end of my "music career".

Steve, you really look like Joe in that pic - you are so alike!

Eh? What? My copy of the fourth edition has the same photo as the third edition, anyone else? If not, is mine the misprinted copy that's worth thousands?

The shirt has faded after all these years, along with the memory

I really enjoyed this one.

I know what you look like now with the ravages of time taking their toll, but what would you have looked like if you were a delectable young woman?

The first shot is proof that I worked on Steve's head/face.

Well its been a couple of years since I did a Friday Challenge, and how I have missed them!! It shows how bad life has become when I have nothing better to do on a Friday night than make Steve look old

Well... many fine entry's thus far.

This has been the most difficult challenge yet...I have much to learn.
I spent many hours removing the hand and arm, rebuilding the face and shirt.
Now I must dig into the book to try to learn the aging process.

edited:And now my attempt to make Steve look a little older
