Contest 162: Angle of view
Another image from my recent French trip. This one was taken in a museum of 19th Century shops (actually, it was much more fascinating than it sounds). The shops were arranged around a central atrium, so in many cases it was possible to get views from almost directly overhead. What I'd like you to do here is to populate this scene. It doesn't have to be people: bottles, photographed toy figures, Poser elements - even drawn boxes will do fine. The purpose of the exercise is to try to make your placement of people and things match the perspective of the room as closely as possible. Another tricky one, perhaps! High res is here. |

Re: Contest 162: Angle of view
To be clear on the "Poser elements" so there are no issues, do you mean we can render figures or items in Poser, save them as a jpeg or whatever and add them into the scene? In other words, not rendering a scene in Poser as submission. I hope this makes sense. Would this apply to any given week or just this week? I didn't post this in General Comments in case anyone had the same question. I want to make sure we are on the same page to avoid any issues. _________________ Steve Mac |

Render jpegs in Poser if you have it, by all means. Then add them to the scene in Photoshop. I don't really mind where you get your images - it's matching the angle of view that's important here. |

Ken wasn't that concerned that he lost his shirt during a poker game...it gave him the opportunity to show off his six pack to Barbie |

Thanks Pierre. From what I've seen in previous challenges I reckon we'll have some pretty stiff competition from the rest of you. Tom, I like the 'blue ring with lights' effect. |

David, Thanks for the name change. Sorry about all that trouble. Tom, I noticed you placed a laptop on the table to the right also. I see we were thinking alike here! Neil. Shooter in the Bar! _________________ "I haven't failed.... I've found 10,000 ways that don't work!" Thomas Edison |

Looks like the Good 'Ol Boys are on break. Not much of a crowd tonight anyway. The waitress may look out of perspective but in her defense she is actually leaning over the table. _________________ Steve Mac |
