Contest 195: Stained glass window
I've always been interested in the design of playing cards, which seem to have taken on an iconic status. Looking at one recently, it occurred to me that those flat colours, divided by black lines, would make an excellent stained glass window.

So what do you think? Can you turn this card into a window design? I'm looking for a quality of light here, of course.

Choose your own location for the window. If you've feeling ambitions, you might like to consider what kind of light such a window might cast inside the room...

High res is here.

Some great work this week. Mick, your lead light looks very realistic. Vicho, took me a while to find yours..very cleverly disguised.

Compared to some of the above mine is crap, but I thought it looked good originally, especially when at higher res. I am only posting it so as my two hours working on it was not totally wasted

If you have learned something from doing the exercise, then your time has not been wasted. Nobody on here is going to judge you.

Vibeke, using the whole family, what a great idea. Neil, Luis Steve and all, what great work. I'm discontent with mine now, so may post another, but what of?
