Contest 203: The 4.50 from Derby
I spent a day wandering around the museums in the charming Central England town of Derby last weekend, from which I gleaned a number of potential Friday Challenge subjects that will be appearing over the next few weeks.

First up is this model train I photographed in the industrial museum, which is situated in the world's first factory. It reminded me of the old Agatha Christie story, 4.50 from Paddington, in which a woman sees what she imagines to be a murder through the window of a passing train.

So what intriguing goings-on might we catch through these windows? And can we take the train out of the museum and place it in a more convincing location?

High res is here.

Some lovely ideas here this week and Anna, I love the paintwork and animation.

Thought I'd try a different approach and show the model being made.

Thanks Anna
I looked at loads of options, but struggled to find images of people in the correct position. The image seems to have developed a line in the lower half, which is not there in the original?.

Didn't think I would have time for one this week, (but I'm addicted). Off to Singapore at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Hadn't actually planned to spend my 45 wedding anniversary on a plane, but the airline changed their schedule. Lets hope they give us a nice glass of Champagne. Will be in Singapore for a week and then on to Paris.

Guys and girls
Just a word of caution for future entries, there are some strange chunks missing from the carriage roof in some of the images. This suggests that the Wand has been used to make the selection and has incorporated the light reflection as well. The Polygonal Lasso or Pen Tools may be a better bet.

Nothing like a little political satire to start one's week off on the right foot...

Being originally from Derby (aka God's Own Country), I couldn't miss this one!

The subject reminded me of a poem we learnt in school ...
