Contest 207: Messing about in boats
I'm indebted to Josephine Harvatt for this week's image - it's a scene she photographed at the Psycho Buildings exhibition at London's Hayward Gallery.

The woman taking her son for a boating trip could do with a better environment, Josephine thinks - and I have to agree with her. Could we come up with a more appealing location than a London rooftop?

High res is here.

Kauai Boat Trip
This reminds me of times I experienced in Kauai. Looks magical, but that's the way Kauai really is...

This beautiful fountain at the Sacre Coeur in Paris makes a wonderful place for an afternoon on the water. Bon voyage!

Here is my try at this.

By the way, I really like your interpretation Mick.

Marty, Yours look good too.

Any one know what the funny looking thing on the back of the boat is?

Dave, it looks to me like it is used to stabilize the boat.

I woke early this morning, so decided to place the intrepid couple in another location. Their adventures take them to the Seine. That's it - promise, but I've really enjoyed this one. Thanks for the image Josephine.

The original version of Turner's "The Fighting Temeraire" before he cleaned it up in Photoshop.

Well, messed up on the shading in the water . Also had some problems bringing down the contrast from the original. Anyhow might give it another shot ...

Never seen before footage!

Prior to his untimely death, Steve Irwin - The Crocodile Hunter - discovered and captured the Chameleon Crocodile. Its appearance seems to change with each frame. Remarkable creature. Join our two spectators and witness this amazing man in action.
