Contest 227: Grabby little hands
I went to London's Natural History Museum last weekend, and once again was awestruck by the fantastic Waterhouse interior of this magnificent building.

There were several animatronic models in the dinosaur exhibit, and I was particularly taken by the size and position of the hands on this one, held in front of it in a remarkably human way. It could be holding a shopping basket, or grasping a tiny Fay Wray, or leaning over a windowsill, or... well, it's up to you. After the trials of last week's technical Challenge, I'm giving you pretty much a free rein on this one.

High res is here.

Ooh! Lexus - you look like Clark Kent !

Oddly enough I was going to do a granny pose - I shall have to think again!

The granny pose was the most obvious to do I feel... but I am not happy with how the knitting matched the hands in mine...

As for looking like Clark Kent... I used a web app to see what I would have looked like in my yearbook if I was at school in certain years. My avatar is what I would have looked like in the 60s in my yearbook photo.

I actually look like this:

I do like the new avatar. Very Buddy Holly-esque.

Sorry about this one; I had leftover images from one of the other challenges and this popped into my head. I promise I'll try and do something vaguely non five-year-old-ish as soon as I get the muse, lol.

Nice image Ben.. where is Sam Neill when you need him!

Very dapper, Nick, but can he do the high kicks?

I suspect a bit of lip syncing going on here.

I guess so Bruce. He seems to be turning into a multi talented dinosaur this week, a dancer, singer, knitter and now a poker player too. I know one thing though, he's keeping his cards very close to his chest. Nice work and Anna too, but I'd sack the sound technician!

Dino was so happy that millions of years of evolution had given him the teeth that put HIM, finally, at the top of the evolutionary pile.

After making my picture, I logged on and realized that the Mad Lep had already posted something similar. I'm going to post mine anyway, and sorry for the similarity.
