Challenge 342: Sophie's Choice
I'm indebted to Sophie for this week's Challenge: a shot of a goat being carried on the back of a motorbike. Well, actually, it's in the middle of the bike, carried between the rider and the passenger. What else might be carried in this way? Just how much can one bike carry? Those who like a more challenging Challenge may want to replace the goat within the original image, patching the background as required... or copy the bikers to a new background. Your choice. High res is here. ![]() |

Excellent idea Ted - and execution. The perspective of the cameraman and the road etc is potentially quite difficult but looks convincing to me. Hope the maestro agrees. ![]() |

Thank you Sophie. It is true that so many of our aspirations to improve, and hopes of success rest, albeit gently, on the shoulders of the Maestro. Nice picture BTW. Where was the location? Ted |

Thanks Soph for the image! It reminded me very much of my son's photos when he came back from India...as a result, my challenge, this week, is loosely based on that ![]() http://vimeo.com/20946250 ![]() _________________ Dorothy: Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore |

Well, this was the best I could think of. Here we are in a rally with Vulcan riders in Sweden. Lots of Vulcans from UK are in the rally as well......and the bikers with the goat of course ![]() ![]() |

Well spotted Anna and wonderful montage, replete with inky fingermarks. The photo was taken in Nepal. Sophie |

Thought i might try a nautical theme to go with my new title. Not entirely happy with it though... ![]() _________________ Man cannot change the direction of the wind but he can adjust the sails |

Small starter (I hope). Sorry about the quality, mobile phoneism. Just an idea. I think the perspective/dynamics difficult maybe ![]() Its the Wall Of Death http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wall_of_death_%28motorcycle_act%29 |

Re: Challenge 342: Sophie's Choice
I've just noticed a spectral being in Sophie's picture. The man on the left. The sun shines upon him like everyone else but, unlike everyone else, he leaves no shadow! Or have I had one too many coffees today? Ted |

Maybe it's Peter Pan travelling incognito through Nepal looking for his shadow? ![]() ![]() _________________ Dorothy: Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore |

Re: Challenge 342: Sophie's Choice
You could be right Anna I hadn't thought of Peter Pan though he looks a bit old to be a perennial child. Perhaps eternal youth and shadows go together. Maybe there's another explanation out there. ![]() Ted |
