Challenge 410: The spice market

I spent a few days in Morocco recently, in a town called Essaouira - where the souk occupies almost all of the ancient walled city.

Merchants display their wares on stalls, as they do in markets around the world. The stalls selling herbs and spices are especially colourful, with the spices appearing as giant cones of condiments.

I spotted these naked, bare cones in an empty corner - it seems they're formers around which the spices are packed - together with some old and somewhat unappetising sacks of colourless soaps and other commodities.

Can you wrap the spices back onto the cones, and perhaps give the contents of the sacks a bit of a lift as well? And perhaps there should be a salesman explaining the produce to the customers.

If you hadn't given an explanation this weeks challenge could easily have been entitled "What the hell is this?"

Well you have all week to think about it.. Sometimes it helps to draw a spider diagram to jot down different ideas.. See where it takes you? And google spice markets..

Go to Google images and type in Spice Cones. There are dozens of high quality pics showing the cones covered in spices and bins full of goodies.
