Challenge 851: The train carriage
Back in 2013 I visited the London Transport Museum and photographed this train carriage with my iPhone 4. Last year I visited again, and photographed it with my iPhone 11. Here's what a difference seven years makes to the camera - and note I didn't use a flash either time. 
Now that I have a decent image of the carriage interior, I'd like you to show how it might have appeared when it was in service. Would the lighting have been so uniform? What might be rushing past the window? And who could be taking this journey? High res is here. |

Looks like a repeat to me, Steve. Please don't write a critique for the above, I am going to revamp it. By the way, the two ladies were stars from Downton Abbey. |

A tiny preliminary sortie has led to the discovery that it is surprisingly difficult to find mid or full length pictures of people seated in profile outside of the png libraries, which of course are completely contemporary in dress, hairstyles, etc. Somehow your coach demands better than an anorak ......... _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

David I noticed that too and have slowly built up a library. Even more rare are images of people seen from above. |

Yes, the moose returns. 
Buster Keaton really works... a very good thought, thanks David. Don't worry about the other guy... actually they are both just characters from my library that seemed to fit fairly well. |

I'm only surmising here, but it's possible that Vibeke was hinting that the site owner had selected the wrong photo for high res, and it should have been the newer (right-hand side) photo selected instead. However, this will be of no consequence to those errant forum members (and you know who you are!) who choose to use their own carriage compartments.  |
