Challenge 941: My kingdom for a hearse
A recent visit to a stock car meeting gave me an opportunity to wander around the mechanics' area, where I spotted this somewhat battered but otherwise roadworthy vehicle. It is, of course, a converted hearse. Mariner will already be sharpening his touch-up brushes to restore it to its original glory, but for the rest of you: who would undertake their final journey in a car like this? High res is here.  |

To answer my own question: the car is a Mercedes-Benz W211 hearse. |

Long time since I was at a stock car race. I used to go as a teenager.

Well now ain't that strange Gordon and Loyd. I downloaded Karloff's Frankenstein monster and then decided he wasn't quite what I wanted and loved on to Barbie.
