Challenge 944: City fish
Here's a fish stall on the corner of Norwich market, one evening recently. I'm sure the stallholder would find a regular clientele if he decided to open for night-time sales. High res is here.  |

I remember Norwich, something was for sale around that market at nighttime but it wasn’t fish.  |

Beautifully done Frank! Mine took for ever and was far harder than I expected.

I would like to make a request to Steve in regards to the two entries by Frank and David in that the works by them should be recognized as exemplary. Therefore, could they not be showcased in one of your upcoming books or publications of what can be done with a dull and uninteresting image.  |

Steve presented us with a very prosaic, simple image and invited us to bring it to life. In one way or another all the entries so far have done just that. Whilst I am very flattered by your comment Michael, I feel it only fair to point out that "dull and uninteresting" is a subjective reaction and not necessarily an intrinsic quality. _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |
