Challenge 997: The Wisbech Whale
Last weekend I visited the North Norfolk town of Wisbech (pronounced wiz-beach), a once prosperous town whose fortunes have now sadly declined. It is, however, home to what claims to be the first public museum in the country – and who would want to challenge such an accolade. One of the exhibits is this skeleton of a killer whale, which was caught in the river in 1849. Sadly there were no photographers on hand to capture the moment. Can you reconstruct it for us? High res is here. |

A quickie... that boy will need help landing that thing... given the scale, some of the animated items will be relatively subtle. Removing the cars was a bit challenging but fun to do. |

Ah yes Loyd. They didn't have cars like that in the mid 19th century did they? Now you have pointed it out I will have to do the same as you did and remove them. |

Michael I didn’t put any audio on this one. All the sounds of whales had other extraneous sounds. Didn’t have time to do a better search. If I do get the time I will post an updated version _________________ Whatever you do in life do it with the enthusiasm of a 4-year old in a Batman suit. |

Wife back home from hospital recovering from broken hip and finally got a little time to play. Here's my whale of a tale. Looks like some real good entries while I was absent! |

Frank, I hope your wife is feeling a lot better now. A good, sharp row of houses with the cars removed, and a better sky. Well done. And the more I look at that foreground the more I like it. |

Ben, if you want your reply to Gordon to show his original message in a square box then you need to click on the reply button next to Gordon's name, then add your line or lines of text below the last word, which is always quoted square closing bracket. |

Michael, thank you for your kind comment. Every time I use the reply button it logs me out or tells me I'm not authorized. |

Re: Challenge 997: The Wisbech Whale
Ben, the only thing I can suggest is that you open a new account on HTCIPS using a different login name and password. you can then update it so it shows your real name and photo. If that doesn't work you still have your old account to fall back on. Then, on the other hand, why bother? It's such a small problem isn't it. |
