Challenge 999: Freddy's train
My eldest son, Freddy, is 33 and autistic with learning difficulties. One of his greatest pleasures is woodworking, and over several months he has been involved in the building of this rather glorious wooden train in his garden.

Can you find a suitable wooden town in which to liberate it?

High res is here.

Steve I see you got out your best camera for this one.

Now, would you prefer our efforts to include Freddy?

What a wonderful creation!

This is fun! Problem is it looks like about a week's work to do the idea full justice.

Now I think of it, I’m sure he’d love to drive the train.

Well Ben that's setting the Bar high! The trestle is pure genius. Exactly the right spirit.

Well this is off to a good start.

Thank you David, Gordon & Frank. The trestle is from by bushwalking days 1/2 a century ago.

Ben, that is perfect. Looks like it belongs somewhere in south east Asia. And I love the passengers

Well done Frank. The water tower really adds to the scene - that gritty, turn of the century wild west town. Fabulous.

Frank a skilled work of art, if a bit gloomy (I like sunshine in mine).

Anna, you must have put in a lot of time creating your entry for this week. It's great. Small problem: in one of the clips the train's wheels are moving backwards. Or is that just my eyesight?
