Challenge 1006: Careful with that chainsaw
I was at a Wood Fair last weekend, featuring a large number of makers, wood sellers, tool sellers and more. A hugely entertaining day out.

One of the attractions was this man, wielding a chainsaw to carve a sculpture. Of course, in this image he's only just started. What might the end result be?

High res is here.

Sadly I’ll not be joining you this week. Typing this from the Eurostar lounge on the way to spend a week with our son in Somerset. I do have photoshop on my iPad but, having tried it once, it’s not an experience I wish to repeat!

I’ll be watching ‘though.

Quick on the draw Lloyd. You must have them all lined up and you're improving by the week. Loved your aircrafts near miss last week to. Well done!

Thanks Dennis, sometimes I just get a very quick idea and must act on it before I forget...

This, for example, just popped into my head this afternoon.

Introducing - the bigger twin.

It's a pleasure doing a casual project for a change. Spare time is hard to find.

Well done Lloyd and Ben.

Two or three years ago my Brother went to a game and country fair on the Sandringham Estate. After watching this actual sculpture being carved, he put in a bid for it, it now stands about 2.5m – 3m tall in his back garden.

The moose! Love it
Dennis, I love how you have built the man. Brilliant.
Ant, what a magnificent piece your brother bought.

Yes, Anna, a chainsaw is a bit too heavy!
