Challenge 1027: Halloweeeeeen!
It's the spooky time of the year, and where better to celebrate it than in a disused ruin of a church. Except that this ruin has been incorporated into a later remodelling of the same church, which rather takes away some of the mystique.

Surely there must be a better location for this piece of ecclesiastical history?

High res is here.

Hmm I can't see indications of that except, if it's Steve's own photo, it's almost certain that the verticals will have been straightened up to be parallel. He likes doing that. It can occasionally make a photo look slightly odd even though one can't tell what or why or see anything amiss. On the other hand it may simply be taken from a little way back on a longer lens that he usually uses.

Either way, maybe the lack of significant vertical vanishing point has caught your eye subjectively.

Re: Challenge 1027: Halloweeeeeen!
I shall be leaving for Amsterdam for a few days so may not have any time for this after my return. Pity ..... it's the kind of challenge I like.

Thanks, Steve.

David, have a good time in Amsterdam. I spent a day and a night there once - a beautiful town.

Everyone else: Here's a little help:

Sorry David... it just called out for it. There will be plenty of room for your version. I already had all the principal characters so it was fairly easy to make.
