Contest 31: Half full, or half empty?
We haven't done a straightforward technical challenge for a while, so I thought it was time to get back to basics and try something a little testing.

Here's a full bottle of milk, as delivered to my door this morning. How will it look when half the bottle has been drunk?

High res is here.

Nicely done Chris, but she's scoffed more than half the milk

cheers, yeah I realised afterwards the young lady had slurped to much of the milk. I am confident Steve will go easy on the young lady

Here in the US we had an ad that ran constantly on the boob tube that depicted milk as the wonder drink. The ad displayed a well known person with a really fakey milk moustache, and the caption "got milk ??" I got very tired and irratated at it so I decided to bury the ad and toast it with a bottle of milk.

oops! just noticed I forgot to open the cap on the bottle. Oh well.

Before I could show the bottle half empty, I had to figure out who drank the milk....

OK, thought id give this one a blast, see if i had the "bottle" to upload my results, if people dont like it then i guess theres no point crying over spilt milk.......... (yes you may groan at the puns if you wish)

Anyway . lol.... this took me about 10 minutes, just to show a little idea of my work.....

hope this amuses, or creates discussion

Looking at it online- i may have gone a little overboard on the perspective given to the miniscus of the liquid (i.e. too much depth for viewing angle), and also a slight overburn on shading...... oh well....

Danyuld, I just saw your image as I skimmed over the thread, it was moving quickly and went very nearly past-your- eyes'd. I bet your sat there like the cat that got the cream now your image is up for all to see. It takes bottle to put your first image up and I really dont want to milk this thread, but come on pull the udder one..

Errmmmm.........I'll get my coat shall I
