Contest 41: Ecclesiastical entropy
This is Spitalfields Church in London, which has recently undergone extensive cleaning and restoration. I think I preferred it the way it was before - grubby, damaged, above all old-looking. Can you restore it to its pre-cleaned state? Or smash the whole thing up, I don't care, it's only a 1729 Hawksmoor masterpiece. High res is here. |

Maiden is going to be annoyed when she finds out somebody has stolen her role as 'the person who gets the first entry and makes it so amazing that everybody else thinks theirs will look crap in comparison'. ^_^ |

I wish I had time to create a montage theseday DezolatOr but my spare time is extremely limited at the moment. However it's fun to see others put in some great work and I've been watching avidly. _________________ mad as a badger and twice as furry |

I have not managed to find time of late to be able to post a Friday challenge entry. This week there are some great examples posted, they look great. _________________ Those are my principles. If you don't like them I have others. Groucho Marx (1890-1977) |

"Ecclesiastical entropy". Try saying that fast five times. Or even once. |

Not quite sure why a COE church would be entertaining a new Pope. What would Henry VIII say?? _________________ "A positive attitude will not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort." Herm Albright. |
