Contest 66: Match those skintones!

After last week's profusion of entries, I thought it was time for another Back to Basics Challenge - and, to address a common problem, this one's all about skintones.

Here's a bunch of musicians, and three photographers (high res is here. I want you place them onto this background (high res here, and make them all look like they belong in the scene. Curves, Color Balance, Levels - take your pic. Just make them match.

Not as much fun as last week's, but I'd really urge you all to have a go at this one - it's an essential skill!

Yay this is much more like it. Not that last week's challenge wasn't fun, but I do like to test myself so as not to get rusty.

You can, of course, rearrange all the people into a more pleasing arrangement! I'd also strongly recommend splitting them into separate layers so that each can be adjusted individually…

Paths Smathsh, I did it without them

Well heres mine, the salsa people were nasty to do, and so was the yellow shirt guy.

2 hours 20 layers and it still wasnt right 2 second power cut and its all gone . im going down the pub

Curves, Color Balance, Levels--all those adjustment layers are so complicated. Sometimes it's easier just remove the skin.

I have to ask.... where did you get that location image from?

Because it's Brighton Station and the woman on the right, walking away from the camera with the white top is me ol' mum!!!!
