Contest 124: The rooftops of Paris
Had a great time in Paris last weekend. This was the room from our hotel room, and it made me think how great it would look at night, with international jewel thieves racing across it. Of course, there could be all manner of clandestine shenanigans viewed through some of those bedroom windows, too.

Inspector Clouseau, anyone?

High res is here.

I first did a version with lots of people on the roofs and lights in the windows, but in the end decided to go for the "less is more" kind of thing.....

Hello all,
I'm a new guy here. I've just finished Steve's book and discovered this site. Excellent fun ! And, a lot of great work and talents judging by previous toppics.

Well, my first entry is ready.
Thanks and take care all!

I can see that Steve didn't stay in the 'best' area. Is that Steve on top of the roof?

I wanted to try a Magritte style image, with the daylight scene painted on the glass of the windows, and the night scene showing through the open / broken windows, but time is gong to be very tight this week, so this is the best I can manage.

I seem to sense a common theme running through this week's challenge.

OH MY GOD! He's loose in Paris, and drunk! Run if can, and don't look back.

Vibeke, I have downloaded your surperb rendition of the "Rooftops"
in order to study it more: the lighting is perfect, and this is something I have no experience of.

I like this so much that I'm keeping it in my collection.
