Contest 135: Gordon's pond
Gordon, aka GKB, has just installed a new pond in his garden. It's an attractive addition, with good rocks around it. But can we finish the job for him? That wall's not the most attractive, and I'm sure a few more plants would help...

High res is here.

I know GKB is retiring, but... he's not that old.

here is mine...I think that that expanse of grass may need something more.

Strange pets you have Gordon, I think the fish would like something a little larger. A lake perhaps .

( click on the picture for a larger image) I think your idea of having an "authentic" tropical pond was a bad move...

Michael, I wasn't sure which to worry about more - the crocagator or my broken neck!

If the other entries are as good as those so far it should be a good Friday Challenge.

Gordon hope you like the landscaping. I figured you could use a new puppy to keep you occupied also. Harvey is just a few months old here. Please try and keep him out of the pond. You know Golden Retrievers just love water.

Be careful GKB, small landscaped yards attract a great variety of wildlife.

Re: Contest 134: Gordon's pond
Unable to explain the mottling on my animation, seems to come courtesy of Photobucket? (It’s easy to pass the buck). An explanation would be welcome, even if it puts the ball back in my court.

Revised the image a little, and discovered the mottling effect occurs when I Save for web. Please don’t ask yours truly for an explanation.

Apologies are offered to Photobucket.
