Challenge 359: The end of the World
Britain's News of the World newspaper has been published for 168 years, and has a circulation of 2.8 million. Following revelations of phone hacking, the publisher has announced that this Sunday will be its final edition, after which the newspaper will be closed for good. The News of the World was never what you might call a quality paper. Concentrating on sex scandals and corruption scandals, it was obsessed with celebrities and their misdemeanours. So if you were the editor of this paper, how would you design the front page to go out with a bang? You can see a typical NoW front page here, or visit the paper's website for more inspiration. |

I heard the news that the bottom has just dropped out of Murdoch's World; or was it the News of the World that just dropped out of Murdoch's ......... ??!! 
Just a small amendment to image _________________ My neighbour knocked on my door at 2:30am this morning, can you believe that 2:30am?! Luckily for him I was still up playing my Bagpipes. |
