Re: Challenge 810: Peppa's boat
Thanks Michael. I have more but I don't think that I can top the first aquarium... it's all in the software and doesn't really take that long. The ones at 100+ frames look good. but it's very difficult to get them under twenty mb for posting. |

Brilliant entries. Loyd, both of your aquarium ones could quite easily be used as a screen saver. Just wonderful. David, I really like Paddington Bear and the way you have matched the colours of the boat to the waves and sky. Well done. Gordon, that is really cute! http://vimeo.com/429145670 _________________ Dorothy: "there's no place like home!" |

To be honest I didn't really take him that seriously. I just remembered that somewhere I had once seen Paddington in a Sou'Wester. The rest was really quick and easy. This is one of your better animations. Lots of variety in there. I like the way you have slightly posterised the boat for the map. I tried for my image and couldn't get it to work successfully at all and gave up! _________________ The subtlety and conviction of any Photoshop effect is invariably inversely proportional to the number of knobs on it ....... |

Thanks Anna, I especially like your "Real Treasure Map Included" bit. For Mr. Sinclair... here is a version with 150 frames (count 'em) scrunched down into 19.56 mb. |

I agree , great work all. Loyd - Super Animations - love the addition of the child's face peering into the tank 👍👍👍 I would love to contribute on this one but the campground is beckoning - some freedom after the lockdown |

Re: Challenge 810: Peppa's boat
Hello everybody. Doing my half yearly check in. Some stunning entries and always entertaining. Hope you're all safe. Just had our first positive case in the office. 4 employees have self quarantined themselves and are waiting for their results. So much for protocol. A group of hazmat clad sprayers came in to "disinfect" everything by way of spraying the office and an hour later, we were back at work. The close hospitals, school, shopping centers...but not operations that generate hundreds of millions. Just like being in the army again. Give me dog tags for the body bag and toe and tell me i'm fit to die....lol Not all bad. I'm not to concerned about myself but the likelihood of taking it home to my family. Stay safe all...and keep up the arting. I'd go mad if I wasn't for the likes of the treasures scattered across these pages. _________________ The grass is greener on the other side of the fence because there is more $hit there. |

Actually it would be nice if you could persuade her to pop over to the UK for a while to show our politicians how to do things ...... please? _________________ Time flies like an arrow but fruit flies like a banana. |
