Challenge 821: The wash basin
I discovered this ornate copper wash basin in the Musée des Cordeliers in the Charente Maritime. I think it's rather beautiful.

Of course, it could do with a better location. And I'd like you to turn the water on.

High res is here.

This is interesting. My first impression from the copper work was of something quite sophisticated. I was tempted to think of it in some very grand interior. But, when you examine it, the furniture upon which it is mounted is in fact very basic and humble indeed.

Hmmmmm ........ ?

Return of the Gamekeeper
They're back! Lady C and that naughty Mellors ............

Using an old challenge like this is called lateral thinking. (Spelt c-h-e-a-t-i-n-g).

I shall try and redeem myself later in the week ..........

This has surprisingly tricky perspective Steve. No end of headaches trying to get it to fit anywhere.

Done my best ........

Thank you Josephine 'oh la la' , and David, I also like the corgi version.

Thank you Nick, I wish I could take more credit for the bird. It's an optional animation for one of the software programs I use, I only sized and positioned it for this challenge. I have used it several times in the past, but it's often smaller and rarely noticed.

Nice work David, and Loyd

I have a horrible feeling that all that is tatty, seedy, and grotty in "undiscovered" France is going to continue...

Here is an animation:

The wash basin conundrum
Steve's feet are sore from walking. He wants to give them a nice warm soak. Can you help him fill the basin with just the right temperature?

Been playing too many computer games ............
