Challenge 822: Press for action
Taking a break from rural France, here's an image I photographed a couple of weeks ago at the Imperial War Museum in London. This press car would look a lot more at home in a desert setting, don't you think?

High res is here.

Not a very creative entry from me this week. I have decided to treat this rather prosaic subject in a totally literal manner as a technical exercise in matching light and shadows and attempting to get material from different sources to form a seamless and atmospheric composite.

The second image shows my starting point.

Michael. That reminds of the bizarre dried up lake in Russia full of rusting hulks. Was that the source your background image? The precise and impeccable Mariner touch as ever.

Interesting I thought it was probably from the Aral Sea which, coincidentally, is on the very same page as your link.

After further research, David, I think it is probably the Eduard Bohlen (see Wikipedia).

This is a static image on account of a massive cock-up of the moving Gorilla (I saved an earlier PSD without the animation sequence).

But I'm on topic!

Lovely entries everyone.

On account of slow work, I actually managed an image...well 2; very similar ones though.
