Curved edge with the elitical marquee tool.
I had asked at the end of this thread, http://www.howtocheatinphotoshop.com/cgi-bin/simpleforum_pro.cgi?fid=06&topic_id=1163150267&page=7 It is easy to delete an elliptical selection from the top of a cylinder but I found no easy way to modify the bottom edge. For example; Slightly changing the shape of one ellipse to another. ( on the bottom of a cylinder, curved edge facing out. ) One way is to make an eliptical selection at the edge of your shape. Invert the section and erase what is necessary.  |
