Obama lama ding dong
I don't know if any of you have been following the US election but Obama Barack's team had a rather good poster design - a friend of mine showed me how to spoof the same and I thought it would be nice to share: Desaturate the image to make grayscale (but leave it in RGB mode). I then use Image > Adjustments > Posterize on it and posterize it to 4 gray levels. If you are not happy with the way the breaks between the gray levels are falling, go back and adjust the brightness and contrast of the image and try Posterizing again. Set the Magic Wand tool for zero tolerance and no antialiasing (and usually for non-contiguous selection), and then select each of the different gray levels in turn and replace it with one of the Obama poster colors. With this manual method you can use the lasso to remove or add to any particular area before you colour it to bring out details that got lost in the posterization. Retouch as needed with the pencil tool. Add the background left and right colors and border, then the text block. Here is my effort  _________________ I'm not really bad - I just draw that way |

I like it! I did something similar of myself a while back, but I wasn't brave enough to try it in several colours! |
