Line art
I'm having trouble with this project - it's the darn pen tool! Starting with step 2 I kinda get lost! I can't seem to get individual paths that are not linked - EVER!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Line art
Hi Joey,

Draw your first path. In the Paths pallette you will find a highlighted Path layer. Give this layer a name just like you would with a regular layer. Now click on the pallette outside this layer to deselect it.

You can now do one of two things. Either you can start another Path, in which case you will create a new Path layer with the new Path or you can re-select the original layer and start to draw your new Path. Inthis case the layer will contain two separate Paths each of which can be selected independently by using the Path Selection Tool which is the Tool immediately above the Path Tool.

I hope this makes it clear.

Gordon
