Hi Mike, That's interesting news about a possible new version in June. I doubt if Steve will tell us anything. His lips are sealed. As far as his new book is concerned, I think he says in his original post that virtually any version of Photoshop within the last 5 years and possibly older will be able to follow the content. Good luck with your new Mac. |

Hi Sophie Yes I can understand where Steve is coming from. Unfortunately, still having trouble with the Mac someone has suggested something about the Ram allocation! Meanwhile

I just got notice from Foyles Book Shop (London) that Steve will be there on 6th April Steve 100% Photoshop at Foyles . I presume that is correct Steve and guess you will give notice on your other thread. Hope several HTCIP'ers can make it. Not sure yet myself. My Amazon delivery estimate still July, but guess that could change later, or do we have to go to Germany, or even Foyles' ... either a good excuse

Trevor, Yes, April 6th is the launch day. I've held off publicising it because Foyles still need to confirm whether people need to apply for tickets to the event - I think it's required, but it's not indicated on the website. Will let you know as soon as I can! The book may still be listed as July, but I promise it will be out well before then. |

I have ordered my book. Ordered it from Barnes and Noble http://search.barnesandnoble.com/100-Photoshop/Steve-Caplin/e/9780240814254 As they say they will have it by March 15 and there shipping charges were less than Amazon. An importan point when you live so far away, that shipping adds 50% to the cost. I have ordered the book and am looking forward to having a go. I usually order from The Book Depository. They have free postage worldwide, and so it works out cheaper than Amazon in the end. - Might help Vibeke in future. |
