Une chose est sûre : c'est que si je ne sais pas dessiner en finissant ce livre, je saurai au moins parler anglais!

Steve, la prochaine fois, tu peux le sous titrer en français, s'il te plait????

Just bought issue 71 of Advanced Photoshop, in their resources section was a review of the book - "Digital artist and photomontage king Steve Caplin". Great comment!

Sorry for the echo!

If you click the subscribe to this topic box, and you already are subscribed, you get the Whoops message, so you uncheck and send, and then find low and behold your message is already there waiting for you times two!

Sorry

Re: Announcing... 100% Photoshop
My favourite SC book so far (I also own HTC CS4 and A&D in PS). It seems somehow more accessible and I am working my way through the examples quite quickly. Of course it may be because of the head start the previous titles provided me.

I don't always follow the instructions verbatim, but we all have our own way of going about things with PS, and it's the end result that counts. If ever the phrase 'All roads lead to Rome' could be applied to a computer app, then PS has to be it.

Trevor - absolutely the right approach. It was never intended to be a recipe book! If you've found a better way of working, then buy all means use it. The instructions are guides, rather than directives.

Glad you're enjoying it so far!

Steve

Re: Announcing... 100% Photoshop
Hi Muhd,

Welcome to the forum!

CS4 will work fine according to my understanding and experience. Just some interfaces and tools change and grow, but it is backward compatible.

Several others here have used much earlier versions of PS and achieved 100% great results! Either way, with PS there is more than one way to achieve a solution of course, and I think we all do it a little different, but Steve's book(s) is(are) a great inspiration I think.

If you have any questions or problems, as Steve would say, post to this Forum. Many are available to offer support and help resolve problems/questions, including Steve of course.

Trevor
