Chapter 4: The desk drawer - 100% Photoshop
I have made the drawer chapter. It is nearly at its end. If you follow Steve's steps you will be surprise how easily you can build up such thing like i-Pod, I really enjoyed it. Thank you Steve that you are sharing your experiences with us.

Beautiful. I have started on the first excersice (Sam Spud). I continue to be amazed at Steves' skill. To figure out how to make the different parts and putting it all together in such a convincing way. Thank you for your comments. I am also in awe. After the drawer chapter I wanted to jump on another chapter but I found my ruler in drawer and thought if I am able to draw it. So here is the result.

Excellent! I've yet to be able to devote any time to PS recently due to a number of circumstances, but seeing the usual fantastic level of excellence here, I am really chomping at the bit to have a go (not that it will be in the same league). Great work Vibeke, sorry to hear about the 'puter' probs. You wait until you get your Mac, you will wonder why it took you so long to change! My personal favourites; the paper clips, and the ruler. Here's my effort, only took 4 months off and on. Certainly sharpened my photoshop skills up and the desk drawer looks like the hardest one, so I gave it a shot. I found that using indesign to do the letter, clock numbers and ruler, saved a lot of pain! So my design is 85% photoshop! 
I'll prob do the CH8, the great outdoors next. Such an amazing book, thanks Steve for answering my question all those months ago.  |
