Setting the Scene, try no. 2
Here's another try for setting the scene. I added the chair and picture as I didn't want a bare hallway and I like a challenge. Should be able to find it here. http://fav.me/d38zanj this is the new version based on the comments below. I would be glad for any feedback, good or otherwise. The door say's Magical Creatures Employment Agency, and that's supposed to be a fairy behind it! Thanks Jacqui ![]() |

Impressive work Jacqui! I love the new colours and the addition of chair and painting are fantastic. Since you ask for a bit feedback, I'm not very good doing this Only small and very small pedantic points or more questions really. The shadow of the chair on wall in some parts seems a little bit strange? All your highlights on chair and shadow on floor are great IMHO. For the shadows on the wall, the back of a chair, normally slopes back, so shouldn't some of the shadow become more defuse/go in the middle as the light is not so direct then from that light. I'll think about that. Great to to see the fairy and what a great idea! Just a very very small point, since the light comes through the window, the first wing(s) will slightly reduce with shadow on the second wing(s)? Again very minor points, questions. Thanks for sharing your work and the additional creative elements. Trevor |

Thanks Trevor I think the chair shadows are a bit to strong, so you could be right. I will see if I can do anything with that bit and I forgot to do anything with the fairy wings so I will take a look at that bit as well. I am thinking of drawing a goblin or something to sit on the chair but that may be a bit beyond me yet. Appreciate you taking the time and thanks again Jacqui |

Very good work, Jacqui. I especially like the bentwood chair, and the mousehole. You know, if you wanted to create a goblin, you could try using the Fantasy Art chapter as a methodology... |
