On my second attempt I'd make more work on the stars.

Good planets and spaceships. I think the main problem with the stars is that they're just too big - and watch where you drag the brush with no additional spacing, the stars get elongated and that doesn't look right. You should aim for tiny points of light. |

Thanks a lot Steve, for your constructive critics and answers. I very much appreciate them. I'm indeed a newcomer on your forum and just read you are working on a CS6 book. Yesterday I ordered your How to... on CS5. Absolute no regrets because of the lot of pages you added looking back on your first How to... And of course the added DVD. Awaiting though for your second edition of 100% Photoshop. Hope you'll find the time for it, because of the very, very many reactions you give on the forum!  |

That's much better! I like the twinkles on some of the stars. I would like to write a new edition of 100% Photoshop, but the publishers won't give me any more pages so it will mean taking out a lot of the chapters from the first edition... and I don't want to cut them! So I'm trying to work out a different way of doing it. Glad you like the books! |

The twinkles came from the old version 6, there are the starbrushes. Here's an idea. Put the items on a DVD and sell them via this site, haha. |
