Hi Joey,

From the forum index, find the area appropriate. You seem to have selected 100% Photoshop. Its a good idea to get the correct area and topic.

Once in there, you can select an existing topic, or if you wish start a new one "Post New Topic" link near top of page.

After that either way, then at the bottom of the window is Post a reply on this topic.
Write in your text, but more important, click "Attachment". That will give you another window to browse for a link to your file you want to attach. Make sure it is <98kb. See other posts how to do that (I'll give link if you have not seen).

Once attached, just send.

Trevor

Update: For more details on how size, see my second post below which includes link to link topic where more details are offered

Thank you, Trevor. I'm going to give it a try. I just finished the "Sam Spud" tutorial and would like to share my feeble
attempt. Actually, I don't think I did too bad. Again, thanx. Joey

Re: post picture?
I recently purchased 100% PS, and am convinced it's the smartest thing I've done in a long time! What I know about PS is pretty much self-taught (manuals give me headaches) and though I "get by", WOW! do I ever have a lot to learn! The beginning tut's and "Sam Spud" have proven that! So, here is my version. I had a few problems along the way, but came up with suitable solutions; I'll eventually solve those problems - hopefully.

I'd appreciate any/all feedback. I do well with critiques.
(By the way, to clear up future confusion - I'm female.
My name is often misleading.)

Joey

Re: post picture?
That looks great Joey!

Can you give us a larger version (see below)?

Steve will certainly comment (not over the weekend) and others enjoy and comment I guess. They have tried as well.

Larger version:
The easiest way is from PS go File -> Save for Web Devices, in the new window, set the size to about 700 - 800 on largest side, and then then mess around with the quality +/- 60 until size <98kb, and the size as well if you wish.

Then if you want also add another link to supporting link for higher quality larger image to your favourite website where you have uploaded the larger image to e.g. http://photobucket.com/ which some use here and I do sometimes . (Its free for up to a limit).
Follow help, how to make the link to it.

Great to see you active.

Many will help you here.

Trevor

That looks fantastic! As far as I can see at this small size, you seem to have got all the techniques worked out perfectly. Great job! And I like the way you've changed the man with the gun to a kissing couple - a very neat touch.

To finish it off, I'd recommend using a large, soft brush at a low opacity to paint out some areas of the top shadow, in order to let some light into the scene. You've put a lot of detail into this, and it's a shame for it all to be covered up by the shadow!

Welcome to the forum, Joey.
