Chapter 2 all done
Not one to be put off completing a task by a minor set-back I have completed Chapter 2 by working around the screw problem (and a number of others I encountered but didn't post). I attach my work here. I went for carpet tiles and am also very pleased with my wallpaper rip. ![]() Bad quality pic due to compression.... ![]() |

Re: Chapter 2 all done
As us cockinees say this is the "Door randle"...you can see how I over came said screw problem. I would still like to know how to do the indent thingy though! ![]() ![]() |

Well done! I like your door handle solution! But don't forget the shadow to the right of the light switch... I'm sorry you've been having trouble with the instructions for the handle. Can you explain exactly where you get stuck? Which step? |

Re: Chapter 2 all done
Hi Steve, thanks and thanks for the reminder! In my haste to finish I forgot that, I have done it now and re-attach. Actually this is something I have been wanting to do for ages. I just couldn't seem to get the dipped in look on step 8. Do you mind sharing what settings you used? I always got a raised look, which is why the screws have a ring round them instead of how you did it. Still I learned a lot from this chapter so glad I pressed on and completed it. Many thanks and kind regards Wren :-) ![]() |

Re: Chapter 2 all done
It's all to do with the Direction. Setting it to Down will produce a low rather than high effect. |

Re: Chapter 2 all done
Thanks Steve, but those rims round the screws were done on a down setting so not sure what I did wrong, I even copied the settings from step 7! :-) |
