Chapter 3 - missing page
Hello again,

I bought the digital version of the book and the 13th instruction of chapter 3 (the saucer's lights) is missing.
Can you tell me what to do? Or what the instruction says?

Hi, I thought this problem sounded familiar! Steve isn't a fan of the digital version of his book.

Check this solution to a similar problem, I drew how the lights should (hopefully) look.

Thank you Artwel,

I bought the book on amazon and read a review to not buy the digital version, but I live in Brazil and it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get here, so I settle for digital versions.

I also saw on the solution posts that Steve is asking for a image of the problem. The pages have no number, but we can see there is no step 13 (only one image for it).

Re: Chapter 3 - missing page
Once again, I apologise for the dreadful shortcomings in the digital edition. It's truly awful, but it's entirely out of my hands. I'm sorry you have to wade through the book in this way.

This is the missing text:

13 Make a new layer for the light. Make a rectangular selection, and add an elliptical top (selection shown in red, left). Soften the edges using Select > Modify > Feather 4. Use the Gradient tool, set to White to Transparent, and drag vertically to make the light beam (right).
