Chapter 6 In The Attic
Here is my rendition of your In The Attic. This took a considerable amount of time but each day I worked on it the day went fast. The jpg reduction really ruin some colors and gradation smoothness. As I now look at it , I see that the cage reflection in the window is to large and I could have lowered the opacity for both images. ![]() |

That works well - all the objects have been very nicely drawn here. My only real concern is the lighting: there's little sense of the light coming from that bulb. Much more shadow needed, on the left of the tailor's dummy and behind it, for example. |

The scates (difficult parts of this chapter) are nicely done Leon. I gradually learned that as soon as you detect a fault, (like the shape of the guitar) delete it and start again. It's time consuming but in the end there's much more fulfillment to celebrate. But between us, I still have a lot to learn... ![]() |

Thank you Steve and Sjef. Now that I look at the image after youre comment, I see what you are saying. Sjef, I too had to repeat several of these shapes with the pen tool before I felt satisfied with them. Leon |
