100% photoshop page 48 Sam Spud
first, is there a easy way to make three identical black vertical rectangles in quick mask? (#12) Second, when I go to free transform (#14) the bounding box I think it's called is around the whole picture, not just around the three vertical rectangles. |

Go into Quick mask first, make your rectangular selection, and fill with black (so it shows up in red in QuickMask). Then switch to the Move tool and hold Alt as you drag it (to make a copy), and optionally Shift as well (so you move the copy only horizontally). The bounding box shouldn't be around the whole picture. Can you post a screen shot of your entire screen, with the Layers panel visible, so I can see what's going on? |

Sounds like you are working on a Background Layer; try either converting it to a normal layer or create a new layer. _________________ |
