Thank you Steve, for your comments. I truly enjoyed this Friday Challenge and "cleaning up" this next week will be fun.
As for the over-saturation, I had a real break through in Photoshop last week, where I finally caught on to Replace Color and also Layers - well - the beginning of Layers.

Thanks Steve. I selected the faces and used the liquefy filter to distort Dorthy's face (stretched the nose and chin and straightened the bridge of her nose). Then I just aged her. I guess I over exaggerated her face. (But didn't you say to make her into a witch? ) Thanks again.
Neil

A cleverly rebuilt Hamilton from chris berry - but has Dorothy joined Kiss? The streak of white in the hair, as seen in Bride of Frankenstein, is a cool touch here.

Well spotted Steve - I wondered if you would notice the ham fisted attempted at Kiss make up. Didn't think you'd spot the bride's streak!!

Steve, sorry about the slightly off-topic post. It was just a surprise for me, after spending a good amount of time on the piece, to see an Oz themed contest here!

Re: Contest 170: The witching hour
Thanks Steve!
To be honest, Halloween, witches and such charming actors are completely outside my very French culture ! For my first contest, I had more difficulty understanding what was required than achieving it.
Personally I really like the work proposed by Elliott.
I think I'll be more comfortable with the refurbishment of the office this week.
Soon ...

Steve, thanks for you comments. I quite like her rounded face; it just happened that way as I let the liquify tool work its magic.

The picture in the background was my last years Friday Challenge entry for Halloween of a monster coming out of the cauldron..

Cheers
Vern
