Re: Where did I go wrong?
p. 37 is ok but the wave shows no sign that it knows that the lady exists, you need to add an extra ripple\diversion around where she is standing

Re: Where did I go wrong?
it would really be helpfulll if you could explain curves more, all you really do is demonstrate simple examples of what it does

Re: Where did I go wrong?
on p. 87 the drivers seat is to the right (like us americans), but you say in step 4 that he is towards the left, you have to remember right and left is relative to the person you are referring to

Hmm. That was one of the spreads I'd been planning to drop from the new edition. Anyone else want to keep it?

The more you drop the better - it means more new stuff for those of us already owning editions 1 and 2 will get !!

Are there 'dropped' things in version one of "The Book"? Am I missing stuff? I have the second edition.

I'm working on the third edition now, as you know. The publishers have given me 64 extra pages, but there's over 100 pages of new stuff I want to get in there, which means some of the material from the current edition has to go. I've taken out those pages that I felt weren't pulling their weight - like the Terminator tutorial, most of the Dimensions-based 3D stuff, and so on. I've also dropped the Carry On Spending chapter, which is now just a two-page Interlude.

Altogether, the book is now much stronger, I think. There are three self-test sections in it, as well as four completely new chapters.

More nearer the time!

Re: Where did I go wrong?
Hello Steve,

I agree with Paul McFadden, I would not worry too much about losing some of the sections. At least for me it is not a problem, since I’m a proud owner of both editions.

Can’t wait for the new edition, good luck!!
