I can't help wondering if Little Papushka isn't one of those unbearably cute and cuddly creatures who'll have your finger off in an instant ...... along with a dose of rabies!

Sorry to be cynical but anything that cute is suspect!

Great cut out Michel!!

Re: Challenge 876: The leaping colobus
First to leap through the forest this week was lwc, with our colobus jumping between a couple of others. Nicely done, and I like the eye blink; maybe the eyes should shift to follow it? Plenty of leaping action in the second entry, against a remarkably well animated waterfall. I like how the foliage creates different depths. A nicely conceived third entry, although I’d like to see some of that strong side lighting carried through onto the monkey. I do like the earrings in the fourth entry.

A beautiful background from Mariner, leaning up against tree in an exotic forest. I like the OK hand gesture, but I can’t quite interpret the facial expression - he looks rather constipated. I hugely enjoyed the second entry, with its three monkeys. I recognise the self-portrait chap on the right, but not the miserable cove on the left. A somewhat grisly end to the week in the third entry - the blood on the tiger’s jaw says it all.

It’s a visit from Cruella de Vil from tooquilos, and the Monkees soundtrack in the animated version is a great choice. Love the bulges as the monkey climbs up inside the skirt. Some serious eye rolling going on there! And the skunk finale is splendid.

A good gag from DavidMac with great colour matching - and, yes, it is a nasty cutout. But then, as you say, I knew that. That’s a hell of a hill in the second entry - and some fun rolling action. Three monkeys arranged in a circle really should be some sort of Chinese proverb.

Wild eagle-on-monkey action from michael sinclair, and it’s bang on topic. Full of drama, and very nicely composed. It’s almost a relief to see you veering off topic in the second entry, with a monkey that’s too cute for its own good. A smooth flying eagle in the third entry, although the monkey only makes the briefest of appearances here. Wouldn’t it be better if it was leaping up out of the bottom of the frame, with the eagle swooping down to catch it?

An exhausted monkey from Frank, very neatly hung over that branch. The limb movement as it doves through the window in the animated version is just right, and I like how the pillows fly about to accommodate it. Please tell me that’s your voice at the end!

Clever toying with scale from Vibeke, whose colobus is being ridden through the jungle: very nice integration of the rider with the monkey, and a great background setting.

Thanks, Steve, I didn't think I would get anything done this week but found myself with some spare time this morning while waiting for a man coming to replace a leaking hot water cylinder.
Always feel like my granddaughter could ride anything.

Thanks Steve, and yes that's my voice at the end with a little adjustment in pitch to the audio.
Now onwards and upwards to David Mac's " Kill the Erection" challenge.

Thanks Steve. It took me a while to get into this one but I enjoyed it.
