Well we were completely rained out for golf before we even got started this morning. Totally bored, I fooled around with a method to make this sort of animation manually. What I was able to work out gives me better control, especially for the border parameters, than the automated DPAM. It probably isn't as good as the app for After Effects, but then I don't use After Effects anyway. Gee, for some reason I really miss the golf course today...

I have never been able to get excited about golf myself but, of course, for many, it is an absolute obsession. Two golfers arrive at the clubhouse carrying a third lifeless golfer between them. "My God - what's happened?" "It's Fred. Poor chap dropped dead of a heart attack at the eighth. We tried our best but there was nothing we could do except bring him back. No kart or caddies just us two. We had to carry him all the way." "He's a big heavy fellow. You must be exhausted!" "Well ......yes ....... but it's not so much the carrying that's tiring, as the putting him down and picking him up between holes ........... More rain today.... When one reaches a certain age, it's no longer about the golf score, it's the camaraderie, communing with nature, beautiful scenery and exercise, not to mention the adult beverages....  |
